Wesley Broulik is a performer, director, writer, producer, & educator.
His work has been seen in television, films, commercials, new media, off-Broadway, New York theatre, regional theatre (LORT), and tours.
He founded and currently serves as Producing Artistic Director of Time’s Fool Company.
Time’s Fool Company (TFC) is a non-profit professional theatre company that operates on a variety of union contracts due the site specific nature of its work. At TFC we believe in access-for-all and that art is a human right. One of the ways we approach this work is through spaces. All of our work is curated in shared, found, public, and non-traditional spaces. Also all of our work is free, pay-what-you-can, or $5.
When not creating theatre, he makes the world a better place through his work in fundraising at the New Britain Museum of American Art.
He also believe that the arts are a living “town square.” That’s why Wesley serves as Chairperson of Wethersfield’s Economic Development and Improvements Commission. The arts are economic development. This has provided him with innumerable skills in navigating public and private partnerships.
As an educator he spent ten years teaching on the university level having served at Central Connecticut State University, as interim-Head of Performance at The Johnny Carson School of Theatre & Film at The University of Nebraska - Lincoln, University at Albany, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
He has studied Moment Work with Moisés Kaufman and Barbara Pitts-McAdams of Tectonic Theatre Project, is a Certified Teacher with The National Michael Chekhov Association, holds a certificate in and was part of the first teacher training cohort by Aretha Sills in the work and techniques of Viola Spolin (this work changed his life), is an alumnus of the directing studio at Shakespeare’s Globe/Globe Education, has undertaken advanced and extensive training with Complicité, Frantic Assembly, Punch Drunk, and been a past participant of Director's Lab North (Toronto, ON). Wesley holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University/Mason Gross School of the Arts and is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, SDC, Dramatist's Guild Inc, and The Shakespeare Theatre Association.
CURRENT NEWS: December 2025 Wesley again took the stage in A Christmas Carol, that adaptation was also be shared by Tory Foundry Theatre, and in August 2026 he is set to direct Winter’s Tale.
